It is turned into an irreversible digest (a hash) and only that is kept; before any message is sent, the destination number is put through the same process and checked against this list. We can tell that you are on it, but we cannot read your number back out of it.
The record does not expire — it stays until you remove it. It takes effect immediately.
This only stops Handoro from reaching you. It has no effect on someone who has your number from elsewhere calling you directly.
